The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic cozy cabin on the top of the mountain. A basecamp ready for your Palomar adventures. This is a tiny home, 19' x 11' (bedroom 11x11ft). Max sleeping capacity: 2 adults and one child under age 5, packnplay upon request. Valley views are from guest accessible property, not directly from the cabin porch. Max 2 dogs stay free - disclose bringing them. $100 cat cleaning fee on top of our $50 cleaning fee, we charge $200 if you fail to disclose your cat(s).

Cedar Crest is a nicely remodeled cabin while keeping its original charm. It is easy access. A few steps lead you to the deck in the middle of the trees... This cabin can sleep 2 people in a king bed and if you would like to bring your kids, the master bedroom has a full size futon.
