Please note that camping at these sites is "primitive"... no water, electricity, mattresses, bedding, or bath facilities. A privy is available in this camping area. Potable water, flush toilets, and showers are available on the other side of the lake. You will have your own dock and swimming area. Lake Heron is a hidden paradise with 240 acres of woodland and a 10-acre lake.

This campsite has water and 30/50-amp electric hook-ups suitable for RVs, 5th-wheel campers, trailer campers, popup campers, or even tents. A fire pit/grill and a picnic table are provided on the campsite. A separate dock is dedicated for the use of RV campers. A "comfort station" is nearby, with two flush toilets and two coin-operated showers. There is an abundance of the wildlife in the 240 acres of woodland; everything from squirrels and deer to turkeys and bears!
