The cottage is well equipped, clean, newly built and is in a quiet area for a great night's rest. Visit wineries, surrounding historic towns, Shaver Lake, Yosemite. Located at the center of California, it's an ideal place for your continued travels towards National Parks, beaches, and larger cities.

You'll find total privacy in our cozy cottage hideaway located in a shady garden courtyard. Off-street parking and lockbox access are provided for easy guest check in. We're centrally located in Merced's historic "Old Town" just a short walk from Downtown. Great restaurants, wine bars, movies, a playhouse and live entertainment venues are all there for your dining and relaxation pleasure. We are a non-smoking facility. This guest house is separate from the main house and is located in the backyard of the property. It is 3 blocks from the Amtrak and YART, and an easy 10-minute walk to Main Street in downtown Merced. A bike path along a creek, playgrounds, and the local zoo are also walking distance. Merced is a wonderful place to visit on a trip to Yosemite and those looking to visit UC Merced.

This home once started out as a Train Station in Madera Ca (Approx. 45 minutes away). My grandfather moved this house to Merced, CA in 1949. The house has many distinct and unique features. This is my childhood home that I grew up in with my parents. I've shared many special memories here with friends, family and loved ones and am happy to get the opportunity to share it with all of you so that the memories can continue.
