The Modern Lakehouse

This modern lakehouse is situated on Hogan Pond in Oxford Maine. Here you can stay with all the comforts of a beautiful lakehouse built in 2020 while being feet from the water. This is a great place to vacation whether you prefer the private sandy beach, the A/C inside complete with Smart TV cable and Wifi, or the hottub! Sip a drink at the bar while watching the game or use the grill on the deck but be sure to use the built in sound system to play your music throughout the house and deck.

The Sunflower Retreat is a private, self-contained, peaceful hideaway. Located in the back half of an adorable 1920's home, this BnB space has everything you could need. A driveway leads you around to the back of the house, where a stone walkway guides you to your own private patio and entrance. Propane and charcoal barbeques available at cottage. THERE IS NO WIFI.

This getaway features two spacious bedrooms plus an upstairs bedroom loft, sleeping up to 6 with ease. The large bathroom is accessed by both the master bedroom and living room and features on-site laundry. For guests who love to cook the kitchen is fully equipped and the deck is a perfect place to relax in the summer and enjoy the view. In colder seasons guests are encouraged to cozy up by the wood-burning stove or use the outdoor BARREL SAUNA.

We go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. (Please note our mattress is FIRM and there is a long flight of outdoor stairs to access the suite.)
