Sit next to the South Platte River in the woods on the beautiful Platte River Fort river bottom. Spend your time exploring the 235 acre property and finding wonderful opportunities for hiking, exploring with your dog, and viewing wildflowers and wildlife, fishing and plenty of river activities.
Our beautiful Lotus Belle yurts feel light and and spacious inside. They are 20 feet in diameter. You can move freely and stretch out in the space without crouching. The Lotus Belle is not only beautiful and spacious, but functional as well. It is constructed of waterproof canvas and has a waterproof floor. When the windows and doors are shut, our yurts shelter guests from rain, wind and hail. Mosquito net, clear vinyl, and canvas window coverings allow guests to moderate the temperature of the space while keeping insects out. Lay in bed and watch the wind move in the trees through the window, or close the canvas shutters to make the space cozy and private.
Our standard setup includes:
- Carpeted tent floor.
- Sleeping for two guests. Two soft, fluffy, all-season comforters provide warmth on cold nights.
- A fire ring - Please bring your own firewood.
- A Beauty Rest king mattress with plush bedding.
- Unique decor, beach towels, river tubes, magazines, lanterns and lighter.
- Two indoor reading chairs, outdoor seating by the river.
Other things to Note:
We do require a $100 dollar pet fee. We know people love to bring their furry friends with them on trips, but sometimes when left unattended they can create quite the mess. Please note we will charge you prior to your stay via Airbnb DM.
Colorado is famous for the number of sunny days that we get. A typical summer day in the Rockies is sunny skies in the morning and some sun and clouds in the afternoon with about a 50% chance of intermittent showers or thunderstorms, followed by clear evenings. We can't guarantee that you'll get the perfect weather.
