Here you can see agouti, armadillo, Brocket deer, pelicans, and caimans. Monkeys are most abundant at afternoon feeding time. Reptiles include snakes, iguanas, turtles, and tortoises. parrots, flamingos, and peacocks share the premises, adding bright splashes of colour. Only the more dangerous animals, such as pythons are kept enclosed. Top Tip: Arrive by 2pm to see the monkeys, especially the babies being fed!

Shark Hole in St Philip. The water rushes under the coral rock worn away by the ceaseless Atlantic. Beyond the very small beach, inundated at high tide, is a wall which keeps out the worst of the waves and is thought to have once kept captive the animal which now bears its name.

The beach is semi enclosed by high coral cliffs, providing a panoramic view of the south shore. The scene is completed by the presence of tall palm trees that add to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the bay.

It is believed that the name "Cherry Tree Hill" originated from the large number of cherry trees which once existed at this location.
