Fernfields Countryside Bell Tent

Price is based on two people sharing the tent. Please note that any extra guests six years and over will be charged at €10 per person per night. Please enquire if you wish to pitch a small one alongside. ALL facilities are shared. Our bell tent is set in the grounds of our beautiful clothing optional site . Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.

However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.

The Old House

We are located in rural Normandy, France, 500m from a small village. Our home consists of an original house and attached larger house. We live in the larger house and it is the original house which is the accommodation offered here. The accommodation has its own entrance and is separated from our house by thick stone walls. There is a living room at ground level with a corner kitchen and upstairs is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom. It is a very quiet location.
