Steep Falls is a rural village. Our home is a 5 min walk to the Saco River a favorite destination for canoeing, kayaking or tube floating (after the spring run off!) It is just a 10 min drive to the boat launch for Sebago Lake, one of Maine's largest and most beautiful bodies of water.

Oxford Casino, Shawnee Peak, and Fryeburg Fairgrounds are all within half hour drive.

Yes, we really do live on Lovers Lane, where the wildflowers bloom each year! There's room for frisbee and to enjoy the peacefulness of our yard. It's pretty quiet here in the oak forest, but we're close to so many great places - Portland, ocean, rivers, trails, and mountains. Gorham has become a mountain biking destination and we've got some great trails outside your door! We welcome all people here and strive to hold an inclusive and safe environment.

Sebago Lake Beach Paradise

Brand new (completely rebuilt in 2024) 3 bedroom (including kids bunk room) and 3 bath w/ large kitchen/living room and cathedral ceilings that look out to lake views and a beautiful beach. Large deck on front that faces the water and large back yard great for games, grilling and more. 5 mins to downtown Windham with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping, and 30 minutes to downtown Portland. House is only rented weekly in the summer months (Fri-Fri).
