Very quiet and peaceful location - the only thing you will hear at night is the owls hooting! Miles of beautiful walks are on the doorstep, and we are also short drive from the Ridgeway. Pool House at Mill Cottage

The Pool House at Mill Cottage offers a unique riverside escape with exclusive access to a private pool (Mar 1st - Oct 1st 2025 & Apr 1st - Oct 1st 2026). Nestled on the Thames, enjoy easy access to riverside cafes and restaurants by foot or boat. The charming one-bedroom retreat features blackout blinds for restful nights, plus a small sofa bed for extra guests. Just minutes from Goring on Thames village and the train station, it also boasts a BBQ and outdoor seating area for relaxing evenings.

Riverside Log Cabin+Luxury Hot Tub Spa+Copper bath

Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

Luxury Shepherd's Hut - The Hyde

Welcome to The Hyde, our beautiful Shepherd's hut is waiting for you, with stunning views over the countryside, you'll have deer, pheasants, hares, kites, buzzards to name a few on your doorstep. Being a working small holding you are welcome to come and see our sheep, lambs and horses, you will be greeted with fresh eggs from our chicken and honey from our bees. The Hyde is fitted with modern facilities, a BBQ area, where you can sit back and relax there are wonderful walks, and local pubs.

The Loft @ Burghfield - Self Contained Annexe

The Loft @ Burghfield is a hotel style self-contained one bedroomed annexe with separate entrance, kitchenette and ensuite shower room. Located in the heart of the charming village of Burghfield Common it offers excellent links to Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury and London as well as offering woodland walks on the doorstep. Perfect for visiting relatives or whilst working at nearby AWE. Please note that the annexe is not available for "day use" and we will expect all guests to stay overnight.

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

Our annexe is light and spacious and people have told me the photographs do not do it justice!! We are just 2 minutes walk to a lovely local thatched pub, and a couple of minutes drive to other restaurants and dining, public transport and family-friendly activities in the centre of Pangbourne which has a station (trains to London take 35 mins via Reading) It is ideal for couples, business travellers, and families with children.
