Willow Barn is in Troston a small village 6 miles from Bury St Edmunds. A luxury, detached, self-catered accommodation for 2 people, in a peaceful location with amazing countryside views. It sits opposite Willow House a Victorian house built in the late 19th century as a gamekeeper's cottage for the Troston Hall Estate. It is ideal for a romantic getaway, cycling/walking and for exploring everything Suffolk has to offer. The Bull Freehouse is a 10 min walk up the lane with great food & beer!

This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. With approx 200m of river frontage and a good sized field and garden . The Annex has a large bedroom with kingsize bed, kitchen, wet room/WC and a small but comfortable living room.

Welcome to our newly redecorated, warm, sunny and spacious garden annex. Off street parking and a short walk home from a day at the races - Rowley Mile Course. (The July course is a longer walk), or a 3 minute taxi ride from the High Street restaurants and Newmarket train station. When travelling we always appreciate a comfortable bed, fresh linen, a decent hot shower, large fluffy towels and being able to make a tea / coffee when we arrive.
