Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Inside features full kitchen, comfortable furniture, indoor fireplaces, games, and more. The open layout features plenty of space for friends and family. Ideal for a peaceful escape or fun-filled family vacation. NOTE: The lake gets green from algae bloom by Mid July, and swimming may be limited after that time, but boating and fishing remain great all year.

Located in a quiet neighborhood five blocks from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and 11 blocks from historic downtown Menomonie. Offering two bedrooms and one bath, along with a full daybed and a twin trundle, easily sleeping seven people. Our rental is a perfect home base for business travelers, college parents or vacationers just looking to enjoy and relax!

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Need a girls weekend...this is the perfect spot...how about a family wedding or a hockey tournament this is your ideal location.
