Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. There is a solar charger to charge small devices and run the lamp and fan. The structure is seasonally heated with a Porta Potty near-by, bring a flashlight!
