Jasmine cottage is a quaint and quirky 250 year old cottage, with sloping floors, exposed beams and a stable door. Whitchurch is a pretty small town, although feels more like a village. It has local amenities, cafe, and petrol station.
We have a lovely and very private studio in a quiet rural location just a few minutes walk from the busy village of Overton. The Studio is warm, cosy with its own en-suite bathroom, tea/coffee facilities and has its own private access and parking. The location is ideal for Bombay Sapphire Distillery, walks on Watership Down, visits to the Whitchurch Silk Mill and of course Steventon, the birth place of Jane Austen. Overton has numerous pub, restaurants, coffee shops for meals
The Old Sweet Shop is a self contained cosy house set in a quite area of Whitchurch. Situated a short walk from the train station, it is the perfect location to explore many of the famous local places of interest, including Whitchurch Silk Mill, Downton Abbey, and Bombay Sapphire. Winchester is only 20 minutes away by car and there are good links to the New Forest and Southampton.
