Hello, we're so glad you're here. River+Rock Cottage is a charming year-round destination in the heart of Valle Crucis. Not only are you a mile or 2 down the road from restaurants and local attractions, but just 15 minutes to Boone, Banner Elk, & Blowing Rock. Homey and relaxing, but close to the fun. River+Rock is locally owned and personally cared for by our family. We strive to personalize your stay, leaving special touches and treats to create lasting memories. Time for some R&R at R+R.

The Chalet

Relax and enjoy the cozy, comfy, stylish Chalet, just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Ski Resort! Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious deck with additional outdoor dining plus Weber grill, and an extra kids TV viewing area upstairs. This great location allows you to easily get to groceries and shopping with the main strip located only 4 miles away. An easy 6 mile drive takes you to the center of the town of Boone, and Blowing Rock is easily accessible at 3 miles away.

Our home is 5 bdrm / 4.5ba with plenty of space for large or multiple families. There are 3 king suites with private baths, 1 queen room, & 1 room with 2 twins. There is even a dedicated office, ideal for remote work. A large fenced-in yard, fire-pit, game room, & basketball hoop provide plenty of on-site entertainment. Grand Escape is situated perfectly between Boone, Blowing Rock, & Banner Elk. Be in downtown Boone or Sugar Mt Ski Resort in less than 15min, and Blowing Rock in less than 20.
