The Parkside is a neighborhood in the western part of San Francisco, usually considered to be part of Sunset District. Close to Ocean Beach and walking distance to shops, parks and restaurants.

The Parkside sits in what many refer to as The Sunset district. Streets run alphabetical and numerical making it easy to orient yourself. We have cooler weather due to the proximity to the coast, the Great Highway, and Ocean Beach. Parking is easy in the quiet Neiborhood's, and Muni trains and buses canvas the streets. Rental bikes and scooters are also available in various locations, but most find what they need within walking distance. There are too many great restaurants and coffee roasters to list, but hosts can provide suggestions based on style of food guests are looking for.

Residential neighborhood out by the ocean. Parkside and Sunset neighborhoods are next to each other with Parkside to the south, up against Pine Lake Park and Sunset to the north up against Golden Gate Park. Where one ends and the other begins is a mystery:-) There are pockets of great restaurants on Taraval, Noriega, Judah, and Irving. Easy public transportation to all areas of the city. The neighborhood is great for walking.
