Many places to chose from. You can buy everything you need from local grocers, wine stores, bakeries and specialty shops. There is even a make and paint your own pottery shop which is great for the kids. The Avalon theater is one of Washington's most stunning and intimate movie houses, that has been restored to it's full Art Deco glory. They play everything from blockbusters to art films. Here, you'll mix and mingle with friendly locals who take great pride in their neighborhood. Tip: Go to Cleveland Park Wine and Spirits and ask for Tony the Wine Guy. He has a dedicated following and there are always tastings, and mingling of some of Washington's most interesting people!

Need your nails done? go to Lavish Salon. There’s waxing, pharmacy, a mini Target, and more! Less than a mile.. easy 10 minute stroll!
