In the winters enjoy a huge wood burning fire place and watch the snow fall in the big picturesque front windows & tall open beamed ceiling. We are located in a quiet neighborhood to decompress from the hustle and bustle.

Set out on an adventure and return to a retreat of peace and relaxation just 54 miles to Yosemite National Park west entrance (additional 25 miles to Valley), 30 minutes to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and Pincrest Lake. Open the front door to the cottage to find a bright space which beautifully showcases the locally harvested Sugarpine beams and trim work. Nestled in the Pines yet close to all amenities downtown Twain Harte has to offer, you will be immersed in natural beauty both inside and outside.

The apartment is on bottom floor with a separate entrance, full kitchen & 1 bedroom with queen bed. Near hiking trails, 20 min. drive to Pinecrest Lake, 35 minutes to Dodge Ridge & skiing, local wineries, snow play, State Parks, Caverns and more. Twain Harte has a golf course, Disc golf course, tennis & pickle ball, mini golf course & more.

Cottage at the Broken Branch

Experience the historic Gold Country and Yosemite national park staying in this newly renovated 1800s mining cabin. Originally built in the late 1800s for the miners of the Crystal Rock mine, the cottage now has heat, air conditioning, highspeed wifi, a kitchen, and bathroom. The Broken Branch is a small working ranch, so the beautiful sunrise views include several horses, donkeys, and goats. It's about an hour and a half to Yosemite and only minutes from downtown Columbia and Sonora.

You will be staying in a lovely warm comfortable studio complete with a wee fridge, microwave and all you need to enjoy a light meal. Oak Nest Cottage is a quiet retreat on 5 wooded acres. The humble cottage is 600 sq feet. Super clean and efficient. The private and quiet cottage includes a kitchenette, bathroom w/ shower, deck, carport and a loft bedroom w/ air cooler. It is comfortably romantic for 2 , safe & affordable.
