Tucked on a creek with stunning views, this newly renovated and charming cottage will take your breath away. Set on 8 acres and surrounded by forest, you can relax on the covered porch and watch wildlife, or roast marshmallows at the creekside fire pit. Designed with the comfort of our guests and their pets in mind, Mountain Magic has everything you need for a fantastic mountain retreat.

Red Cottage

Your stay at Red Cottage will be comfortable, easily accessible, and minutes away from Canton, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. The circa 1950’s Cottage is fully renovated inside and out. Beautiful front porch and lovely sitting area in the rear of the Cottage. We are climate controlled with a mini split HVAC to keep you toasty warm in spring, fall, and winter and comfortably cool in the summer. Internet access and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Washer and dryer included. Welcome!

It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel. Come expecting simplicity and refreshing stay in the wooded landscape of WNC.
