Nightingale Camp is made up of a converted railway carriage living/sleeping area and a shepherds hut bathroom with a roll top tub. It is set in a private clearing on the banks of the river Coln. It has an outdoor kitchen and a private wood fired hot tub. Walks stretch out in all directions from the camp, and Fairford, Lechlade, and Clarksons Pub. Please note that the camp runs on solar power which means using 12v chargers. No availability? We have three other places - pls msg for details.

There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A king size double bed, shower and toilet. A log burner for chillier times and fully insulated. Sooth yourself with our luxury handmade sheep milk soap. Fresh eggs from our chickens. Surrounded by our sheep and lambs in the fields yet within walking distance of the village, pub or circuit. No dogs. No Children.

A beautiful private space all to yourself, the Oak Barn has great character & enjoys lovely views over fields to the Chilterns beyond. You have your own entrance & key so can come & go as you please. The hamlet of Preston Crowmarsh lies on the river Thames & is a great place to wild swim & watch red kites. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Thames towpath & an 8 minute walk to the bus stop for Oxford and Reading. We leave you to enjoy your privacy but are next door in the main house if needed.
