Sidney is a quaint seaside town, it offers all the necessities ( grocer, pharmacy etc) Beacon Ave is lined with unique shops, including many restaurants, coffee shops and bookstores.

Thursday evening farmer's market from mid-May to the end of August. Niche stores throughout. The "book city" of Canada. Wonderful restaurants. Did we mention view of the ocean?

A great little town to hang out for an afternoon. It's on the water with pretty walkways, piers, impressive yachts etc. There is also an aquarium and lots of little shops. They have a big street market on Thursday evenings.
