A nice, flat linear trail which is built on the old Rock Island Railway line. Jump on the trail one block to the east at the corner of West Georgia and Monroe Street. It is being built out in phases which will run 6 miles from the northern edge of Ruston to the southern edge. The northern section is open providing a nice tree canopied walk or bike ride for 4 miles round trip. Head south across the tracks and you will be at the eastern edge of the Louisiana Tech University campus.
