North beach. If you don't like beaches with umbrellas, Ftelia is a very good option. Avoid it if the weather is windy

Due to the strong north winds, Ftelia is an extremely popular beach for windsurfers. However, during the summer months it gathers less people, as the wind conditions are not conducive to swimming and sunbathing. Ftelia beach is 9 km away. northeast of Platis gialos and is accessible by car, motorbike or taxi, but not by public transport.

North facing surfers' beach (advanced; under 10 minutes away). No umbrellas and not recommended on windier days (unless surfing!)
