ALTE OPER FRANKFURT is 5 Stations/20 minutes with train. Station is called TAUNUSANLAGE. There you can start if you want to see the opera, go down to the city thru FRESSGASS or GOETHESTRASSE (luxus shopping street, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton etc.) You can go the way to the ZEIL, the biggest shopping mile in frankfurt. Station for the ZEIL are HAUPTWACHE or from the other side, KONSTABLERWACHE. From the ZEIL you ca go to the OLD TOWN with the DOM or RÖMER and also the river MAIN, where you can make a boat tour if you like.
