The Loop, aka the Santa Cruz River Park is a multi-use path that runs along the Santa Cruz River. The river is dry most of the year, however there are some pocket parks and other site-seeing destinations along the way. Highly recommended bike path, it is safe and family friendly. It is also an enjoyable walking path. From the casita, it is about a 30-45 minute walk to reach the Mercado, which is located close to downtown. It is about a 10-15 minute bike ride.

This is a loop trail that goes all around Tucson. It's super cool, close to us, and a great place to go for a walk/run or ride your bike.
