Smaller, local winery on a hillside. Distant mountain views, quiet and peaceful. Great wines, if you're a fan of Virginia wine. A little of something for everyone from sweet to dry. Our favorites are the blush, made with a mix of strawberry wine(sweet) and the Petit Verdot. Excellent staff, with a selection of snacks and cheeses. Two friendly winery dogs, Maggie (so cute!) and Vinny.

We have watched this winery, located in Amissville, grow up! When we first visited, the tasting room was in the basement of their house and the fermentation tanks were in the garage! They have recently built a fantastic, large tasting room., beautifully decorated with high ceilings and a fireplace. Friendly staff, good wine, pleasant atmosphere. They have live music on the weekends.

My favorite vineyard in the area. Dog-friendly and very laidback. The make a very good Viognier!

Quiet country peace, tranquility and great mountain views. Relax in the farmhouse tasting room or surrounding grounds and "Escape the Madness"! No stress, no pressure, just magnificent wines!
