A hike around Convict Lake is a MUST! It’s a mostly flat, two-mile loop, so it's easy for kids and anyone not in hiking shape. Eat at Convict Lake Restaurant after. Convict Lake is one of the prettiest and most dramatic spots on the Eastside.

This is a great place for kids. A nice easy walk around the lake with harder, longer options as needed. Or just simply sit by the lake and throw rocks.

This is a gentle, lower elevation walk around the lake, lots of people like to fish and swim here. The restaurant near the campground has really good bananas foster.
