Dublin Port is served by an Express Bus Transfer 7 days a week. The journey time between Dublin Busarus (Central Bus Station) and Dublin Port takes about 15 minutes in normal traffic conditions. The Express Bus Transfer service is operated by Dublin Bus – please click here for timetable. Fares for this Express Bus Transfer service are currently €3 per adult to and from Connolly station/Busaras and €4 per adult to and from Heuston station. Children under 16 years will be half price. All fares are per single journey. Tickets may be purchase online as part of your booking process. Once you confirm your booking, you will receive an email confirmation showing your Express Bus Transfer. You must have a copy of your email confirmation when travelling, as this is your bus ticket and it must be presented to the driver when you are boarding the bus. If you amend your booking to travel on a different date or you add/remove passengers, then you will need to ensure that you have a printout showing the correct and updated travel information. If you do not produce a copy of the email confirmation when boarding, you will be required to pay the applicable fare again directly to the bus driver. All Express Bus transfers are non-refundable once purchased and are only valid for the date shown on the email confirmation. You may also purchase your ticket on the bus before departure. Payment is accepted by cash. If paying by cash you must have the exact amount. Please note that Free Travel Passes cannot be used on this service. Connections between Busarus and Heuston Station, where not shown, are possible by Luas light rail or local bus routes. These services are not included and are payable separately.
