If the weather is nice, then this is a must-stop. Set along a hillside in Bovina, Putt Putt Van Winkle is a dream for children and a joy for adults. Plus, they have a small cafe that sits alongside a beautiful creek.

easy family fun outdoors. mini golf in beautiful setting. also has food and lovely seating area. no official charge, donations encouraged. you could hang for a couple of hours on a nice day. owner is incredibly talented and friendly.

It's putt putt golf. But this guy is a former Broadway set designer... the course is just awesome for both grownups and kids. Seriously. Call ahead to make sure he's open.

Play Putt Putt at Putt Putt Van Winkle ( really, you should, it’s special) 15 min drive to Bovina, the most charming Putt Putt that ever was. Great artist made course that tells the tale of Rip Van Winkle. They leave clubs and balls out even when they are not there, so you can go play anytime. On the weekends, they serve yummy sandwiches and pastries. Ice cream bars and sodas. Picnic tables on the stream. Lovely!

A new addition—miniature golf!—to the area in Bovina. Have yet to go but everyone around says it’s the BEST.
