Maggie's is a clean rock bar that also serve curry, it opens until 1 am and it is a cozy place with a local crowd. If you like 60-90s rock music and videos, you'll chill out comfortably there.

JAPANESE CURRY & SHOT BAR. Only a 5 minute walk from Jam Jar. Without doubt the best Japanese Curry in Kyoto. Tommy (not his real name) runs this bar himself with help from his lovely wife (Masako-san) who cooks the curry. There is only 2 x choices, usually chicken or pork, but he does have an extensive menu so plenty of veggie options available. Opens from 7:00pm - 2:00am (closes either on a Sunday or Monday night but very irregular).
