In the summer they have a touch tank for kids and there are seals in an outside viewing area. There is a link to the East Coast trail at this location and lots of views of the ocean. This is a free attraction. Approximately a 10 minute drive from the Airbnb.

The Ocean Sciences Centre, located at 0 Marine Lab Road, Logy Bay, Middle Cove, Outer Cove, is a research facility that studies Atlantic marine life. This family fun attraction offers a touch tank with small marine creatures as well as a harp seal observatory with two residential harp seals. A knowledgeable staff member can answer your questions and, for those who are less inclined to hold the creatures, will hold them for you to view. Although the touch tank is open only during summer months, the two harp seals can be viewed from the observation platform year round.

Site with a beautiful view on the coast that also provides touch tanks with marine life in the summer. You can also look at seals in pools there.
