Amtrak is an easy way to get in and out of town. Note-this area is going through some gentrification. Keep your wits about you and keep safe.

We have used this train station several times to commute to areas like Virginia. Late at night it seems a little unclean and a poorer clientele but we haven't had any problems with it.
