Tenganan Village is located in Karangasem Regency, and it is a village of native Bali, also called Bali Aga. Before the 1970s, anthropologists considered it to be one of the most secluded societies in the archipelago.

Visit Tenganan felt a little bit more authentic, it is one of the most unique ( and oldest) villages in Bali. One of the famous rituals in this community is The Mekare - Kare takes place every June . The ritual is held in honor of the god of war and it is an ancient tradition that still practiced every year. The architecture of the village is beautiful.
