Évora's aqueduct. There is a route that you can walk from the city center until the beginning of the aqueduct, in the country side. In the street inside the city walls 'Rua do Muro', where the aqueduct is located, you can see amazing local houses builded inside the aqueduct's archs.

Inaugurado a 28 de Março de 1537, o Aqueduto da Prata de Évora é uma das mais marcantes obras efetuadas na cidade na primeira metade do século XVI. Foi construído em escassos seis anos, sob direção do arquiteto régio Francisco de Arruda, e prolonga-se por cerca de 18 km, até à Herdade do Divor, onde vai abastecer.
