University of Michigan's Archaeology museum had a complete renovation in the last few years. It is a pretty special place in a historic building

This is a gem of a small museum. One of my favorites actually. The ancient fresco room is gorgeous!

Great museum with a lovely collection. Large enough to have really interesting exhibits, small enough to see everything and not be overwhelmed. Highly recommended to archaeology enthusiasts!

It is a big museum. Admission is free and you are allowed to take pictures but no flash. It is worth visiting. An impressive selection of archeological objects from Mesopotamia ,Greece and Roman periods in the middle eastern era. A must!
