Fuel stations are few and far between and there none located in Matarangi. The nearest fuel station can be found at Whangapoa which is about 20 mins way at the next beach village on the way to Coromandel Town but it is a little pricey. There are also 3 fuel stations 25 mins away in Whitianga and 2 in Coromandel Town.
