Redcar is a traditional fishing town with fabulous beaches for fun filled family days out. Local fishing boats are parked on The Esplanade and in Fisherman's Square. If you fancy getting up early, you can see the fisherman leave for their daily catch. The Zetland is the oldest life boat in the world and is free to see at The Lifeboat Museum and Redcar Heritage Centre.

In my humble opinion this is one of the best beaches in the world. Only a quick 15 minute drive from Guisborough If you like a good walk then I recommend parking at Majuba Carpark in Redcar TS10 5BJ (£4 for a full day) then walk 5 miles on the sand to Saltburn, stop for an Ice-cream, Fish and chips or a pint. Once you are ready head back yo your car. One of my favorite walks. MAKING MEMORIES
