Ancient tomb, part of the Avebury World Heritage site with stunning views. Its approx 1.5 miles to walk, theirs a lay-by on the A4 too.

West Kennet Long Barrow is a Neolithic tomb, situated on a chalk ridge, just down from Silbury Hill. Great to walk to in the morning whilst its quite. A short walk not taxing. You can even go into the tomb.

Perfect for a nice walk. Can walk into the burial chambers. It is on the A4 on the way to Marlborough, which is also well worth a visit!
