This pub has gone through a bit of a transformation recently and have started to serve Thai food. The food is exceptional and definitely worth a visit

A ~40-60 min walk across country, over the railway tunnel and back into the village. The best thing about the Coach and The Crown is, you can take a mad risk 10min dash back home along the road to get the car to bring the kids back home! The Coach is a lovely traditional country pub with a large, well tabled garden that transforms into a party pub at the weekend. The staff are friendly and Debbie, the new landlady is lovely. They do a great Thai menu during the week and I believe they are now doing Sunday roasts. Under 14s are welcome inside the restaurant and garden but they are not allowed in the bar.
