This is not your every day park. It's part of the North Carolina Museum of Art, which means as you are strolling along, enjoying the outdoors, you also get to appreciate all sorts of art sculptures. It's 164 acres full of bike and walking paths. It's also quite open with little shade, so if you visit, pack the sunblock!

The outdoor sculpture garden trail is really peaceful and the free indoor galleries are a great variety. Check for featured exhibits and special events.
