Oldest fort of Hunza dates 1200 years back. it was the residence of rulers of Hunza before Baltit fort. altit fort is unique from any other fort as it stands on a hundreds of feet high cliff. prisoners with death sentence were said to be dropped of the forts highest point on to rugged rocks of river bed.
