If you like the Long Island sound, this is a great spot for you year round. Parks and beaches, BBQ and sightseeing all in one spot.

Go here every summer, there's places to BBQ, playgrounds and a clean beach.

This is a fun walk along the beach (1.7 miles each way). My family loves to do this walk on cloudy days. The nature is beautiful.

This is where I take my mom and dad to the shore. the water is extremely relaxing. waves are chill not to harsh. not that many people. you can bring your bikes and bike around the entire park, though it may take some time its huge. you can also have a bbq or go paddle boarding. highly recommend this place--but you'll need a car. i think only cars can enter the state park. cost $20 to get in.
