Kayak Hire is based at Caffa Mill Slipway & Carpark (PL23 1DF) Social distancing made easy with plenty of open air space & a big slipway for you to self launch without our assistance. We have made everything super simple, we will get your equipment ready for arrival all you need to do is pick it up and enjoy your time on the water. A fabulous activity on the River Fowey. You will receive a safety briefing and help with planning your route before you paddle off to enjoy some of Britain’s most breathtaking scenery. The kayak hire experience involves fun and adventure and you can cover the entire Fowey estuary depending on the tide. We will advise you on a route that encircles the harbour creating a spectacular loop, including a conveniently located mid point break. Take a look at their map for routes and trails to suite your ability. Each trail will have awesome sights to see, wildlife, adventure and leave you with sense of epic achievement. This activity is designed for experienced Paddlers ! For independent hire one of you must have some experience and at least one of your group must be over eighteen years of age. We recommend a 1-1 ratio for children under eight. If you are new to paddling or inexperienced you should join an accompanied Kayak safari.
