For a more upmarket sushi experience to Zubatsu, sticks and sushi is a good shout. Great cocktails.

Copenhagen-born Sticks’n’Sushi is rapidly blooming into a successful chain operation, but it remains a far cry from the average high street offering. Here, find distinctly Japanese-inspired food from in spacious, quintessentially Scandinavian dining room. Sushi is clearly the prominent focus, alongside Yakitori-style skewers featuring with less conventional ingredients. The sushi is fine, although pricy as is expected in London, but “small bites” and “sticks” (duck hearts lashed with sweet, spicy Teriyaki sauce, in particular) are the most rousing menu highlights.
