At Fort Augustus you can pick up a boat trip that will give you much interesting information on the area as well as a different perspective to the land you have been visiting. Plus it is fun. You can get a RIB or a boat with drinks and food served undercover,

A flat cycle along the canal towards Fort Augustus. Depending on how far you want to go it's a great day out, finished with coffee and cake at the Moorings Cafe.
