This is a general store but on weekends and select other days, they do a Tapas dinner....very nicely done and great for dinner out with friends. Wonderful history here as these were Ernest Hemingways stomping grounds in his youth and an inspiration for his writing.

The place for tapas (only available 6pm-9pm) Reservations needed. The patio out back is a peaceful and intimate setting. A bit pricey so best for a couples. The owner is an interesting character.

Built in 1876, Horton Bay General Store is a step back in time through the screen door that Ernest Hemingway visited daily as he was growing up in the area. Unique gifts, bakery items, souvenirs. During the summer the store offers special dinner meals by reservation.
