Now called The Bakist** "A successful small independent coffee shop! What's not to love? They have a standard fare of coffee and cappuccino based beverages, inside seating, outdoor seating if it's nice, and yummy pastries. If you're a fan of breakfast foods, like I am, try to get there before 12:00 noon. They have a half a small but super delicious breakfast sandwich menu, and always good keeche.... It's that how to spell that?. Anyway, the breakfast sandwich I LOVE is not explicitly listed on the menu, so just say this: Egg Tomatoe Spinach Mozzarella Cheese Sausage On a delicious croissant I love it"

If you want to do some local exploring and walk by the Bay, head down toward North Beach., where you will find Sweet Sues and a small boardwalk and beach. The backroads through Fairhaven are lovely.
