Traditional pub. Great fish and chips served in pub or you can order as takeaway. Fab views of Herefordshire from beer garden in the summer. Huge gin selection

The Chase in Upper Colwall is another cosy country pub, with a wood burner. It allows dogs and is popular with locals. The bar staff are lovely and the food is great. They start serving at 6:30pm – in case you’re planning a walk to end there, which is a nice afternoon option. In summer particularly, it is nice to sit on the deck and admire the view across Herefordshire to Wales. Large parties should book for dinner.
