Take a bike ride from Raumati to Paekakariki through Queen Elizabeth Park and enjoy NZ nature at its best. Or take a horse. Or go for a walk and a ride on the vintage tram. Perfect for picnics too!

US Marines were stationed here during WWII and there is an interesting exhibition area detailing their time in Wellington. But there is also a cool Tram that you can ride in from the main road down to the beach through the park. It operates 11am-4.30pm Sat, Sun and public holidays.

QE Park is a place to walk,run,cycle. Take a picnic and make a day of it. There are horse treks. Some of Wellington old trams are out here and you can ride them on weekends - its special.
