The Lavrion Mining Museum is a privileged site: historical education, because of the role played by the Lavrionic silver in classical Athens, but also because of the contribution of the newer Lavrion to the Greek economy, because of its rarity, natural education, form, color, mineral crystallization and aesthetic treatment due to the radiance and beauty of the minerals available. The Mineralogical Museum is a mineral rainbow with sculptural compositions created by the nature-artist himself. You can visit it only 3 days a week (Wednesday,Saturday and Sunday 10:00-12:00) Το Ορυκτολογικό Μουσείο Λαυρίου είναι ένας προνομιακός χώρος: ιστορικής παιδείας, λόγω του ρόλου που έπαιξε ο Λαυρεωτικός άργυρος στην κλασική Αθήνα, αλλά και εξ αιτίας της συμβολής του νεότερου μεταλλευτικού Λαυρίου στην οικονομία της Ελλάδας, φυσικής παιδείας, λόγω της σπανιότητας, του αριθμού, της μορφής, του χρώματος , της κρυστάλλωσης των ορυκτών και αισθητικής αγωγής εξ αιτίας της λάμψης και της ομορφιάς των ορυκτών που διαθέτει. Το Ορυκτολογικό Μουσείο αποτελεί ένα ορυκτολογικό ουράνιο τόξο με γλυπτικές συνθέσεις που η ίδια η φύση καλλιτέχνης δημιούργησε.
