Historic St. Mary's City offers an immersive experience where people learn about Maryland's first settlers and the first Catholic peoples to come to colonial English colonies. Great water views, a replica of the Dove ship, and walking paths. Highly recommend a visit!

Historic St. Mary's City is one of the premier historic sites in America, a museum of living history and archaeology telling diverse stories on the site of Maryland’s first capital in beautiful, tidewater Southern Maryland. This is about a 25 minute drive south - it is worth the trip
